LO3: Footage in the style of chosen genre

The footage we have shot is in the style of our chosen genre which is a crime thriller. It has suspense in most scenes and a mystery that needs to be solved. It follows the conventions of the thriller genre by adding suspense to most scenes. It also follows the conventions by creating a mystery. We have added mystery and supense into our film as we created sharp cuts, which was used as a popular convention of a thriller genre. This is common in thriller films as it is a main source of suspense.Another convention we have followed is that the film ends on a cliff hanger creating more suspense for the viewers as to what happened next and would create spectacle for the sequal.  We have also followed the conventions of the crime genre by creating multiple crime scenes which the characters have to solve. We also show the toll this takes on the main character and how his job is stressing him out. We have also followed this genre by having a police chief who is putting pressure on the main character to finish the murders.
