We ensured our cast and crew stayed safe while filming as we stuck to our risk assessment, we took regular breaks in order for us to not become strained or tired from filming, we concealed and limited any wires needed for filming. As we were in a public place we briefed all cast and crew on what to do if a problem with a member of the public arises to again minimize potential risks which may have arisen.
The house and office where very safe locations, however, we made sure to stay safe around the lights and warned everyone to be careful around the lights and no to touch the bulbs as they could burn people if they got too hot, we managed to do these simple commands and everyone behaved responsibly around the lights and no one was hurt.
To stop a risk of fire we did not cram up a bunch of equipment into a small space and also we did not plug too much equipment into one plug as this is also a risk of fire. There was no fire as because of the actions we took, which is good as fire is a massive risk. We taped down wires to reduce the risk of people tripping which made the recording area safer for our group and the actors. No one tripped over or even nearly did making the taped down wires a success and meant no one got harmed.
We made sure to not overwork the actors by having regular breaks while filming. we ensured the actors were happy during filming meaning we stuck to this practice. The equipment being stolen was a risk as we were mainly filming in public although to combat this we made sure the expensive equipment wasn't on show so people weren't as likely to steal from us. We made sure not to film the public or if any members of the public are in the shot their face is not recognizable. In the Alleyway scene we decided to block off the alleyway for a short period of time to avoid getting the public in shot when they did not want to be filmed, if at any point members of the public were visible we made sure to brief them so they were happy for this to feature in our product.
When we where filming the supermarket scene it rained to avoid water damage we only filmed inside and when we took the equipment outside we made sure they where all in their waterproof cases as well for extra measures we covered the equipment with water resistive pieces of clothing like coats and hats. We also managed to keep any spillages from happening by acting responsibly and we told the actor to be responsible with the groceries he picked up. We managed to have no issues with traffic as the alleyway location was not close enough to the road to cause an issue.
